Oooooh - what you gonna call them?
I think names like paxo, casserole, soup etc are childish - yet hysterical!

For that, I'm sorry. But you can take my word for it, your mother had it comin'."

How exciting! We've had ours almost a year and haven't bought eggs since. Have you kept them before?0

Since we are talking about chickens - (I'm new to this site and I still reeling with the amount and variety of subjects raised!) I have a very urban back garden and would love chickens, I have the space but it's right up against the fence with next door, and next doors house is very close to this fence. I know that they won't crow but do they make any noise that will cause any nuisance?0

They can cluck a bit when they lay an egg (well, wouldn't you?) and they burburbur as they walk around but I wouldn't call it a niusance. Kids make much more noise! Our back garden is very urban, we mentioned it to naeighbours either side before we got ours and they didn't have a problem.0

I'm about to get some this summer and we live in a terraced house (actually have three houses on on the sides of our garden). You do have to check that it doesn't contravene any local council regs but you certainly don't need a cockerel and in fact you are better off without one.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
