Do you know your spouses income?

I know what his hourly rate is but the hours he works/expenses vary.

I know roughly what my OH earns albeit not to the penny, he'll have no issue with me checking his payslip if I wanted/needed to know exactly. Same goes for him knowing my salary. It seems strange not to know the combined income of your household?

I know it to the penny, just as I know where all our investments are and at what level and I know more details of his employment contract than he does.

Someone has to - it doesn't play to his strengths, but to mine so I deal with it all. Just like he deals with any spiders and the health crap.

I know exactly what OH earns per week- every Friday he asks me to check his pay has gone into his bank correctly and which bills are coming out that week. He sometimes will ask me to check his payslip to make sure all looks ok. However I'm convinced he still thinks I earn 12k (I don't) but he says its none of his business what I earn.

My spouse earns the same as me. We do the same job.

I couldn't tell you the exact figure though.

We also have separate accounts but I know how much OH earns, owes and has saved. He should know the same about me, but he doesn't actually listen when I tell him .

I have an idea what OH earns (unmarried) but his expenses vary so I would have no clue if he got back 1k or £19.50 each month

we are ok as we are at the moment and if things altered as they did drastically last Oct I would talk to him as I did then and we would come to some agreement.

and bless his little cotton socks for supporting me the last 10 months and in future til things get better :T

I know what he earns, but that's as far as it goes. Our finances are separate. I only know because he's shared with me how much he currently earns and we've discussed how much he thinks he should be earning.
I think I'd continue to know how much he earns, because I imagine he'd come home excited if he'd received a payrise.
