4 missed payments!?

i have a 292 credit score.. everything is perfect apart from "credit agreements". I have 7 direct debits, and the only bad one I have is from Orange. I am currently paying back £76 over 2 months to a debt collecting place. The problem is orange keep recording it as a missed payment, and now I have 4 missed payments!! What can I do, as I'm actually am paying it...

How long will my score stay at 292 :(

Ignore the credit score that should be the least of your worries. it will be irrelevant to lenders. The missed payments should be your concern unfortunately they will stay on your file for 6 years. How much do you owe Orange?

If you are in arrears then it is usual for a lender to mark your file with missed payments.
Often by the time the account is passed to a debt collection agency to try to collect the debt then a default will be filed on your credit file, which would have a much longer term impact than missed payments.

Once you pay off all the arrears and if you then keep up to date with future payments then at that point the creditor will then start marking your file as up to date with payments.

I owed them £150, but now I owe them £70..

I'm annoyed as they've put 4, and now my credit looks crap when it's really not..... everything gets paid on time....

If there is a 4 in the status code that implies you haven't paid the amount in full and on time for 4 months.

Did you pay your April bill on time and in full?
    Your May bill?
    Your June bill?
    Your July bill?

If you did pay the April and May bills on time in full then you should complain about the entries on your credit file.
