Window instillation

Options
Help, I hope I'm in the right place.
We are currently building a new home and have had velfac windows fitted by an approved installer we had a few problems with the patio doors the fitter said the openings were to large velfac said they were the correct tolerances and have put this in writing ,we resolved this by installing hardwood packers which were measured and provided by the fitter. When he came to install the last door it was to high and was touching the render bead so the render was knocked off and the window fitted as he said the bead had slipped . But the door was still catching the bead. I have had velfac on site to do some remedial work and they say that the beads are all the same height and that particular door is fitted higher than the other two. We waited 6 months for the fitter to return despite emails to him and velfac he came last week took one door off removed the plastic packers and left while the render was re applied to the head he came back the next day refitted the door said it was fine and left I was busy with tilers and underfloor heating contractors at the time so didn't check the door immediately ,a mistake I know!
The door is still catching so I rang him the next day he accused us of adjusting the door after he had left, stated it was fine when he left it to which I replied we'll I don't thing it has risen up in the night, he then said it was catching for the first few inches and would be fine , i asked him to put in writing that the door and render wouldn't be damaged because of this, silence. He says he will have to charge us for coming out as he had done what he was told to do ??? I replied that I had a door which wasn't fit for purpose and if he was refusing to come out I would have to take advise. Then he blamed my husband saying we were both saying different things we left it that he would ring me early this week to arrange a meeting . No phone call as yet any advice would be gratefully received , he has been paid as we had to pay some in advance and a cheque when he arrived these were the terms issued from him and velfac.
Thanks Sam.
