I thought this thread would be a good place to list all the local events & happening leading up to & during Christmas 2013.

DAILY CHOIR PERFORMANCES

Every day as part of The Winter festival, from 16 November to 24 December, hear two choirs sing Christmas carols and other classics on Queens Walk in front of the Christmas Market stalls.

It's a beautiful production; some ballet, some modern dance & lots of fun with well known characters & music.
A word of caution - they use dry ice for some of the scenes, so don't take the the first few rows if, like me, it affects your throat.
