Hi, I'm looking to invest £80,000 in the next few weeks and am baffled at where best to put the monry. I wouldlike a good interest rate, daily if possible and no penalties when I remove the money from the account for a house purchase. Does anyone have any advice on where best to place the money?

icici, icesave, cash isa if you don't have one.
Initially anything that you already have set up. If you don't have an internet saver with your bank request one and move the money there while the other application is going through - then calculate whether the loss in interest moving the money is outweighed by the higher rate.0 -
You could use some of it to buy some premium bonds and then withdraw it when you need the money. With a large holding, you could be lucky.0
