POPLA appeal refused, what next?

Sorry OP, didn't mean any of my post to come across as a 'telling off'.
The FRO was most certainly aimed at the (imaginary) PPC that might (if his legs still existed) walk anywhere near my property to try to impose his money-grabbing scam.
And whilst highly unlikely, the more I hear about your friend's situation (and many other similar cases) the more I start to discount the possibility of this never happening on private estates in due course.
A fox on the rampage doesn't discriminate between chicken coops! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I didn't ask for anything because I don't have any experience in this field. Somebody asked to to write a letter in English because they have only basic English skills and that is what I did. But when it comes to rules and regulations, what you should and should not say, I have no idea. The parking ticket was issued on the 10th of May, the appeal was sent within a week, we only received a reply on the 19th of August. The reply states £100 must be paid within 14days. It makes me laugh how they can set time limits on things, but they are allowed to take 3 months to reply to the appeal
You aren't going to let him think he has to pay, I hope? :eek:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So why on earth did you help him with his POPLA appeal if you have now idea.......Proud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0 -
Was that appeal definitely to PoPLA or the PPC? OP says the ticket was issued on 10th May and they appealed within a week - that's quick for a PoPLA appeal isn't it?
Just a thought.0 -

Yes Dolly
Definately POPLA, just shows how NOT to appeal to POPLAProud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0 -
I know its frustrating but are we not being a tad hard on the OP? He/she was not a member of the forum and as such believed/assumed that POPLA were impartial and the appeal his friend made was a valid one. We know how to appeal due to experience and reading lots of appeals and that an appeal does not rely on the facts as the driver would know them.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

OP
Ignore all communications from the PPC [unless it's genuine court papers [extremely unlikely as this PPC don't 'do' court]]0
