I bought some Fimbles party boxes from Homebargains last months, I'm sure they were 49p for a pack of 6! :D I also bought matching Fimbles napkins, table cloth and plates for 49p a set.
It may be worth a look if you have one near you. I went last week and bought a novelty birthday cake shaped hat for the kids which plays happy birthday for £1.99

I was going to suggest HomeBargains too! Also Latifs sell them - I paid 79p for packs of six a few months back.

Good luck and I think you are very brave to have 50 at a party - that was my original plan but I chickened out and took 15 to the farm.

Oooh thanks, will look that up.

The reason there are so many kids coming is because its a joint birthday, my girls (2 yrs 10 days apart) have always had small parties before (around 10 kids to each) and I gave them the choice of small separate ones again or a bigger joint one. The local community hall is just £27 for a whole Saturday afternoon (although the party will only be 2 hrs I hasten to add!) so I figured hire the hall and let the kids have as many friends as they want - which looks to be the whole of each of their classes lol!

Off to look at disposable helium canisters next so I may well be back!! :D

The disposable canisters are really expensive - we hired a helium canister from a local BOC depot, they delivered it and collected it and it was much cheaper, and we weren't left with the problem of canisters to dispose of. It's really worthwhile ringing a couple of local gas depots and seeing if they can help you.

Little late now, but have you thought about making them? Buy a happy meal and undo the box, then you just follow their design, I've done this before when I needed the odd one or two. I suppose it depends on how expensive the card is tho.
