On Saturday 24 August 2013 until Monday 26 August 2013 (local UK time), eBay.co.uk registered Private Sellers (subject to the below mentioned seller restrictions) who list up to 100 listing(s) (with a starting price of £1 or more) in an eligible category using the Auction-style format on eBay.co.uk, will not pay an Insertion Fee per listing.
Feature fees will still apply. The number of listings eligible under this promotion is limited to a maximum of 100 listings for sellers without listing restrictions or less where seller restrictions apply.

Just to remind people that if your items finish on or after 4th September then the new fees on postage will be in force.

So, if you list a seven dayer you'll be alright. This is probably the last chance to get a listing at a decent price.

you can also list for 10 days on Saturday, but not Sunday.

Yes but surely it depends not just on when your listing ends but when the buyer pays? I thought they said the fvf on postage would be charged when the buyer pays because they wouldn't know what the postage would be until payment?

The pink on the ebay discussion boards has said the date the invoice is raised is the important one- but basically if an item is sold on the 3rd then it will be under current rules, regardless of when buyer pays.

This would tie in with the fact that the charge will be on invoice amount or paid amount whichever comes first. This is important, as it means if a buyer pays for 3 things in a combined invoice you will be charged based on that invoice regardless of whether you refund any over charge. However, if buyer requests an invoice and you send a revised one with a lower postage charge that buyer pays- your fees will be less.

I have to say though that in the past few weeks there has been a lot of contradicting info on the ebay boards with the pink not fully understanding what would happen if a seller refunds part of a postage charge. However, the position appears to have steadied now- so we should be fine for items ending up to 3rd Sept.

After yesterdays problems the links are taking sellers to .COM make sure to change to .CO.UK

That's a glitch since the ebay boards changed not to do with yesterday, when you click on someones id or listings from the ebay boards it takes you to .com

I know about the board links but the FLW Links normally go direct to UK this time they are going to .com,just a heads up anyway in case any seller didn't notice.
