Importing Thunderbird folder

I have a laptop and desktop - both with Thunderbird - both with different "sent items" boxes
I am trying to amalagamate both sent item boxes - so I can then try IMAP as my mail server
I have backed both up - using Mozbackup - but this tool does not allow me to save or import just one folder - when I try the whole lot - it overwrites the existing ....
Any suggestions ?

Brilliant - done it
I had 4700 "sent" emails on my laptop and over 12,000 "sent" items on my desktop - both are now in synch - took 2 minutes.....
Now I have to set both up using IMAP !!0
