    WCA's should be conducted within 13 weeks, however the time span between receipt of the ESA50 and the assessment is stretching by the week, two posters on CAG have been waiting for 16 and 18 months (no it's not a typo I mean months). This might not present a problem if it's a reassessment but if it's a first time claim 16-18 months on assessment rate is unreasonable.

    Requests that assessments are recorded have slowed the process down, mainly because of ATOS's attempts to scupper recordings.
  • Thanks everyone will have a look at the other forum mentioned and that checker too , my head is fried today as due to brain injury processing stuff even simple stuff can stress me out but a big THANKS for replies as you have each kept me calm and positive .

    unless you really think you are going to pass the atos work assessment, you don't want to rush them, as if you fail it you will be on JSA or nothing if your partner earns more than around £111 a week.

    You could get contributions based JSA for 6 months if you have enough contributions paid.which does not take into account your parnters income, but that's just for 6 months.
