Getting bored with this house buying malarkey

I am now officially bored with this house buying malarkey. We found something we liked and didn't need to sell ours and got messed about by the EA who wanted to sell to a friend and so didn't get that one.
We sold ours within a week and luckily found something we loved within a week. Have just got to surveys and paid out for them and mortgage fees only for the owner to change his mind about selling and the EA to take 2 weeks to tell us.
So we are now back looking at houses again and I just can't get myself excited about it. Does everyone go through this? Does the boredom inevitably hit you? It feels awful to be bored and not excited about such a major purchase.

Wow, - that really is disgusting behaviour from both (unsuprisingly) the estate agents and the seller. Really sorry to hear this. Unfortunately with current UK legislation and the working practices of estate agent scum this sort of thing is all too common.
Your current state of enthusiasm is perfectly understandable
Chin up, - you will get there in the end0 -
I do hope we will get there in the end. I don't want to irritate our buyer and just hope he can continue to be patient.
I have spent the afternoon on rightmove and driving around to 'doorstep' a few houses plus have emailed a few of the agents just to let them know we are back looking. I have also convinced H to consider another area that previously he had said no to, so hopefully we can move ahead soon.

It's cr*p isnt it... I dont think its always this bad but it just happens to be an ultra hyped up sellers market at the moment. I do think the whole chain system is an absolute nightmare I mean its bad enough having the ups and downs of trying to sell your home as well as the ups and downs of trying to buy too!!! and then to add to the mix there are generally between 1-8 people who are also in this position with you? its madness:j Where there is a will there is a way - there is a way and I will find it :j0

Who knows, when he decides to sell next time, maybe the market won't be as bouyant as it is now......MFIT No. 810
