Electoral Roll

I recently checked my credit report, wanted to make sure my electoral details were up to date. I moved into my new flat back in Feb 2012. However, the current entry I have, doesn't mention my flat number, my flat building name, the road number the building is on.... it just has the road name that my building is on, the area and the postcode. Seems half of my address is missing! Doesn't show my name on the voters roll either and no moving in date.
This was via CreditExpert. So I contacted them and explained the situation. This was their response:
We have checked our records and can see that the details we hold match the published Electoral Roll for your address. As a result, we are unable to amend our records at this time.
Please contact your council to discuss this matter further and we will update our records when your council sends us an update.
I called my local council to verify what information was held about me on the electoral roll. They confirmed they had my full address (not what was held on my report) and also confirmed that I was registered on the voters roll (my correct name in full).
I've pushed this back to CreditExpert - but what do I do if they maintain the stance they currently have? My council cannot understand where and how they are only getting half my address from?! Help!

you should be able to get it in writing from the council to confirm the address thats on the electoral roll.
Send that to CreditExpert and they should adjust it.
not sure why they would only have half of your address thou, that seems abit odd0 -
Yeah, very odd! And not my name either? Would a council tax statement be sufficient?0

Speak to the electoral roll people. They will be able to confirm the address you are registered at. The council tax records may show different eg the name of building. Also a council tax bill is not proof of being registered to vote. Ensure all your records are consistent, ie all accounts have the same address. I didn't check the address on an electoral form at a previous address, duly registered but because the landlord had changed the name of the property the two did not match. Result when applied for some credit, declined due to not being on electoral roll!!Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0
