Repairing 3 deep scratches that affect NSF wing, NS door, NSR wing, OSF wing, OS door and repairing a scuffed front bumper. Some of the scratches are severe enough to have caused minor dents to the panels.0 -
I'm happy (well accepting) of the cost but I just wanted to check I wasn't being an idiot to accept what they say (I have never seen the scratch OH didn't even tell me until he knew the price).
I'm terrified of telling the insurer as he's only been driving since June so they're going to throw his premiums through the roof even without a claim I would expect.
The person he hit seems happy to settle this between ourselves (I'm assuming his insurance would be affected too if he claims) but I need to cover our back.
I'm not sure how he hit them but I've been telling him he drives to close to things and he doesn't listen to me.0
