If you are used to your washing machine being on a solid floor you will notice the difference if you move it onto floor boards. They also don't last as long.

Thanks @greent, I have looked at the zones, and the washing machine would be against the furthest wall away from the bath, shower and basin. The closest thing is the toilet, which is a zone 3 on the adjacent wall, IP20. I was intending on hard wiring into the power supply, no plug to touch, next to the ceiling. This area is not zoned. All good! What I do not give, you must never take by force.

I am so pleased that your chimney is finally being done. Glad you got your gas top up. The garden room Friday - will the scaffolding be out by then? I think you said it wouldn't fit past the house otherwise?
No wise words on the washing machine. I'm lucky enough to have a utility so usually have two or preferably three doors between it and me as I am very noise sensitive. Will you cope if the noise increases?Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

@badmemory, I wasn't aware of that! Any idea why? It will be going from a concrete tiled floor to a floorboard bathroom. I am assuming the vibration does it in! The other side of it, is that it could shake the house apart? I still think it is worth the effort to try. It's a win-win as far as I can see if I manage to get it done.
@savingholmes, you have noticed the one fly in the ointment. No, the scaffolding won't be gone by then. I think they would have to carry the panels around the corner anyway, due to a tight spot which was in the photos I had sent.
However, I am in a real dilemma. The builder wants to come back on Friday, the same day as the Garden room delivery. I don't have the space to have them both here at the same time, so one of them has to give. As they have started the chimney, I think they will come back 'tout suite' to get their money if I put them off, and it is supposed to be raining on Friday. So, I was thinking - get the Garden Room done as it has been planned and there has been no messing around with them, everything has gone as they outlined within the scheduled timeframe.
If I tried to put the Garden room off, and arranged it in 2 weeks time, it would be my luck that the builder doesn't show up on Friday and then the next date he gives me is the same day as the re-arranged garden room! So, keep the one constant in it's place and expect the builder to not show anyway because of the weather!
The noise won't be an issue for me. If it is, I will just have to ensure I only use it during the day. I am not bothered by noise, and can create a huge amount when I feel like it. Luckily, I can always close the door, and the bathroom is over the garage, so there will be less noise transfer into the house hopefully. Plus, I won't care as I will be in the garden room working! I wish the house was big enough to have a utility, but alas. And I know that moving it into the garage would be a disaster, especially in winter, because I would NOT go outside to set the washing machine. I just know me. It's the kitchen or the bathroom. What I do not give, you must never take by force.

I think your logic is sound on the dilemma.
On the washing machine - I'd be interested to know if its building regs compliant and what that would mean when you come to sell. Presumably you could put the washing machine on some plyboard or something to help protect the floor. I get your logic on not wanting to go outside to do the washing - I wouldn't want to either. The bathroom being above the garage makes it sound a much more feasible option from a noise perspective too.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Yes it is the vibration from being on wood not concrete, it puts the tub under more strain from being thrown about more.

Thank you! Its really small! I didn't realise how small it would be once up, but at least it isn't overpowering the garden. There is some work to do, as usual. Which includes tiling the floor, painting the walls, putting the table in etc, but all good!
The chimney man should be back on Monday, so hopefully, the scaffolding will be coming down at some point next week.
Happy days! What I do not give, you must never take by force.
