I'm about to start a new job and can now afford a new car. I have three teenagers so would still like something large enough for them to have space in the rear seats.

My annual mileage will be about 15000 miles.

My budget will be about £250 per month.

Don't mind hatchback or saloon and will probably go for a diesel.

If you want something slightly smaller, Honda Civic (1.6 diesel engine on the new model is extremely economical), very roomy in the back seats, but wont be as roomy as the Skoda or Mondeo
  • Kia Cee'd perhaps diesel, very economical to run.

Hyundai i40 is a nice motor with bags of room. Took one round the local safari park courtesy of Hyundai a couple of years ago.
