I just looked and theres a belt on anyway. I can only see one anyway and its securely fitted. The drum actually feels a bit offset when i move it like its unbalanced. Its prob the bearings and god knows what else. Looks like I will have to get a new one so I'm looking for a bosch but I'm hoping to find some discount codes and go through a cashback siteThanx

This would have worked for me - although I ended up replacing the belt on ours at home.
I have 2 kids and wish I had a 7kg machine rather than 5kg. It seems like we do at least one load of washing a day.US housing: it's not a bubble

Hi Lady K,
Did you know that "Lady K" was the name of an old Kelvinator washing machine from the early seventies?
Brilliant machine, lasted for donks.
Anyways, here's an explanation of load sizes and how they affect the performance of the machine. Like most things, there's a trade off.
Personally I wouldn't recommend anything over a 6kg load for normal domestic use as, if you separate your laundry correctly, there should be little, if any, call for it.
There is this myth about putting a duvet in the washer, perhaps in adverts, yes but in the real world, no. You might get a light (3.5 TOG) duvet in there but you'll struggle with a 7.5 TOG or more one in reality, even on a (supposed) 9kg load machine. Duvets need big machines, seriously big as in commercial to get them properly washed and clean.
Hope that helps.

Shame the Lady K's arent still around then
I already ordered one today, a 7kg bosch http://www.boschappliances.co.uk/products-detail-wm.aspx?id=8 I was going to get an 8kg one aswell... good job I didn't. I hope its going to be ok. I do sometimes spin single items so I hope this one is going to let me do that, it makes the newer washers sound really quite sensitive all I want to do is get my blummin washing doneThanx
