Closing Account Online? Possible?

Hey, I have been sorting out my accounts today - moving money around to different saving accounts and current accounts etc. and opening two new accounts.
I now have an account that I will no longer need and has £0 in it. I would like to close this account so it no longer appears on my online banking (THE OCD in me!).
Anyone know how I can do this without going into branch?
Thanks
(The account is with Barclays and an easy saver account)

Secure messaging may be an option.
Alternative write a letter to your branch0 -
If you mean the e-savings Reward (an oxymoron if ever there was one) you can do this with telephone banking. You could go into the branch but they can't do it and will use telephone banking anyway0
