Fabreeze usually works well, I'm surprised it hasn't.

If it is the seats, when they are dry, sprinkle with bicarbonate of soda. Leave overnight, and vacuum out.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))

I use Neutradol quite a lot. It works very well and the car always smells fresh :D

I had a car like that moons ago that stunk of wet dog. When I picked it up it was so bad my lungs felt like they wanted to be sick.

Spent weeks trying to get rid of it but it would still randomly come back on a hot day etc. Seats were leather too (so easier to clean - or so you'd think) but it made no difference.

If you have access to a steam cleaner then steam clean the interior, also something like Simoniz interior cleaner, as it has anti bacterial properties.

Just resign yourself to smelling that on every hot day for the rest of your ownership.

Been there, done it... even professional cleaning did not remove the smell. It would smell great for a few days and then, after a bit of sun, it would creep back again.

    We called it "potted dog".
