Alcatel Y800 mobile Wifi - use in Spain?

Hi

I bought a Alcatel Y800 mobile Wifi, is it possible to use it in Spain or will it only work in the UK, thanks :)

    Yes it will work in Spain but presumably it is locked, so it would need to be unlocked so that you could use a local Spanish SIM in it for data cost reasons.

    Ah, this makes sense. Do you know how I can get it unlocked?

    As above, for calls and 3G data, either use your UK sim and your providers (probably) high rates, or unlock it and buy a Spanish, or international sim.
    For wi-fi use only, it doesn't matter, but you'll be relying on finding hotspots to connect to.
