Best exercise for toning upper back??

I already have quite a bit of definition - but I'm a (very small) size 6 and build muscle very easily so don't want to take it too much further at the risk of looking rather unfeminine in my wedding dress!
I should add that I've been doing most of these exercises and using a PT and can see definite improvement.MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
I think everyone above has it covered for you. If you don't want to increase the size of your weights I would try returning to your start position very slowly: i.e. if you are doing barbell curls take two seconds to lift the weight up but take 5 to return to the start position maintaining your form. Makes a huge difference. If you are doing 3 sets of say 8 reps just make your last set a 'superset' doing the slow returns. WIll definitely help toning.0

Pullups are the best.
Other than that, try lat pulldowns and bent over rows.0 -
Sounds like you're already doing all the right exercise so you need to look at your diet. Are you eating clean? Can you cut out more sugar? Are you getting a good balance of protein and healthy fat?“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0

Thanks - I eat very clean, except for the odd sweet treat. Plenty of protein and healthy fats. PT is very happy with the nutrition side. Diet is largely vegetables (lots of greens and avocado), salad, lean turkey, eggs, fish, nuts. I limit complex carbs and fruit. Drink mainly water, odd cup of green tea, limited alcohol.
Def can't afford to lose any more weight - I'm 5'6", under 8 stone and size 6 clothes are rather loose on me - and my ribcage/breastbones etc are very visible. Don't get me wrong, I'm not skeletal, but I can't take the criticism for being "too skinny" if I lose more!MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0
