If they are painted then hairspray:confused: it works for crayon so it may work for felt tip or maybe white spirit but be careful that doesnt take the paint off

Nail varnish remover works on loads of things but only use a tiny amount in case it dissolves paint too.

    Hiya,

My DS (2) loves to draw and inevitably if you take your eyes off him for 2 mins, you can guarantee it will be all over the walls and doors!!

I have only found one solution, its called Flash Mark and Stain Eraser.. it's like a white sponge thing that you basically wet and wipe. It really is that simple lol much better than all that scrubbing!! I know it's not especially OS but I find it pretty invaluable with a toddler around... It's sold at most supermarkets (got mine from Asda), comes in a pack of 2 and I think it cost about £2..

    Hope that helps,

    Sarah xx

Hi, if the felt tip has 'soaked in' to the paint, I haven't found any solution other than repainting but if its still on the surface, a (very gentle) use of Brillo pad/ wire wool and stardrops sometimes works. Good luck!

Those erasers you can get in £ shops aswell, I think the Tesco own brand one might be cheaper than £2 too.

I usually use hairspray on pens.
One day I might be more organised...........

Not sure about felt tips, but methylated spirit removes ball point quickly. Might be worth a try :D

Can't help about getting it off, but after my children did this once too often we switched to using the washable felt tips. Much more relaxing. Can definitely get them from ELC but think other big stationery places sell them too. Hope that helps for the future!

I once had the problem of black marker pen on the radiators when DD was very small. A cream cleaner did the trick (it was called jif then, but has since changed its name to cif I think) This was on gloss paint, though, so I guess it depends on the finish of your doors.
