I have a spare nailed to the wall in our hallway for my wife, she has one of those key cards, we've already had to pay to replace one and I'm certainly not paying for another!0 -
Probably no help now but when you do get new keys, have one of the car keys on your house keyring with a few of those novelty key rings to make the bunch larger. Even bulk out the key bunch with a keyring torch/bottle opener.
I have my both car keys (2 cars), several house keys and 5 different key rings all on one large bunch. The large bunch itself will make it more difficult to loose and if there is lots of metal clanking together on the same bunch, you'll more likely hear it fall to the ground if you accidentally drop it.
Having a large bunch of tangled key rings with all my keys has saved my !!! countless times. Most recent was when I heard my keys slip off the counter and fall right in to the kitchen bin, sounded like a brick hitting the floor lolWe’ve had to remove your signature.
