Not familiar with that LG model, but if your TV is internet enabled it will have an ethernet port. You need to connect that to your router.
If the TV has built in wi-fi. you can alternatively connect it that way.
The manual will give you the full details. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Looks like the TV is not "Smart" so you will need a "Box" what do you want to access - for the Internet a laptop is better, if you have a Wii, X-Box or Playstation that can be connected to your WiFi you can access things like Netflix, Iplayer through your TV.0

Roku or Google TV box will do what I imagine you want, the model you list is not a smart TV.That gum you like is coming back in style.0

I currently use a small PC connected to my TV and have been looking at using an Android TV box but not bitten the bullet yet.
Try searching 'Android TV' or similar on ebay or Amazon for some ideas - basically it's a tablet without the screen...0 -
Don't know, however you can Google it.
Sky have a £10 box that will stream Now TV.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

PS3 will stream Lovefilm, iPlayer, loads of others, in HD unlike the Wii, plus other stuff like play Blu-Rays, play games and stuff. Add the remote control for it too instead of using a controller if you want. Plenty around cheap second hand, I wouldn't want the 12GB one, get one with a proper hard drive.0

I've been looking at boxes like this - try searching 'google tv' 'smart tv box' 'android tv'. There are lots of different boxes which do slightly different things - make sure that the one that you choose says that it has a lovefilm app.
As people have said, you an also do this through the PS3 or Xbox360, or another option is to look for a smart Blu-ray player.0
