Planter selection advice...
Hi guys I've just placed an order for the containers as per the photo. The 2 bigger pots (tall planter and pine planter h50) are for opposite corners of the decking but now I'm wondering whether I should have two the same or if these different ones will look ok?
The square one will have the tuteur in it with a clematis and the other will have a combination of lavender and ferns I think
Thoughts please?

I like a mixture of pots.0

I quite like a mixture of pots too, but I also like quite an informal country style , if you wanted a more modern minimalist feel, I would keep them all matching. Just my opinion but I hope it helps!0

The plants will never be the same even if you plant identical types. Unless you go mad with the bonsai scissors and tweezers. Non-matching gets my vote every time.
I have every kind of pot there is, and no two match (partly because those that did have been chipped or marked).
On a similar point, why is it that a back-alley in Greece/Jamaica/Morocco can use old oil drums, paint tins, a rotten table and the remains of a tyre for planting, and grow something that looks like a Chelsea exhibit, while mine..... doesn't!!!:mad::mad:0 -
Lavender likes sun and ferns like shade, so they might not be happy sharing a container.0
