Glass kitchen splashbacks

Can you paint the wall, then just fix the splashbacks to the wall and when you're bored of the colour, remove the splashbacks, paint the wall and then refix? Or isn't it that simple?

Are you thinking of a clear, see-through glass splashback?

All the splash backs I have seen are 'coloured' glass and you can't see the wall through them (mine is black glass).
Mine is fixed to the wall using adhesive but I don't see why I wouldn't be able to remove it, possibly sand down any left over NoNails and fit another colour.
