    Hello,

I'd like to join in please!

Iread this thread when it started and thought that it was a brilliant idea! And I still do, because once you start, it's hard to stop. And I don't like giving up. Someone suggested starting at the finish line with 52 pounds first, then working your way back down to 1.

My DH was made redundant in August, and my days were reduced from 3 to 2 in September. So I opted to start with the highest amount first. I'm now coming up to payment number 10 this weekend, with 43pounds.

Maybe it's just me and numbers, but I LOVE this, seeing the figures add up. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, as well as knowing that it's helping a liitle to reduce the mortgage.

Thank you so much for setting this up!

I started this a while back. I managed the first 10 or so payments but have had to pause it for a month or two - will hopefully resume after Christmas. I think I prefer the working backwards idea
