Removing Expanding Foam from your Carpet

Unfortunately today I ended up with a brick, covered in expanding foam, falling out a hole onto my nice red carpet.
Basically I had a bit of a Eureka moment brushing the dog with a fancy brush, and wondered if it would work on the carpet, and yes it did!
The brush is called a Furbinator, and is designed to remove the hair from a dogs coat.
Here's some pictures of the removal process, the secret is to work 360deg through the stain.
