I want to be able to download Music Videos and other content off YouTube.com to my Vizion Mp3/Mp4 2GB Player which I purchased from Bid Up TV on Sky Satellite.

Its NOT the most user friendly of Mp3/Mp4 Players the instruction booklet is rubbish the screen is about 1 inch in Size so it will cause considerable eyestrain if you watch it for extended periods of time I am sure NOT to mention the Battery Drain on the unit.

Does anyone know a Decent Mp/Mp4 Player worth investing in or is it best to buy one of those Portable DVD Players ?(what is the Play time approximately of these on Batteries?)

Anyway back to the Software issues of downloading Live Streaming Content to Mp4 Format or amv format do I need to buy the software?
or is there Free software out there?

http://keepvid.com/ is full of pay for software but I could not get the evaluation software to work on my Vizion M3/Mp4 Player

User Friendliness is a Plus with a Portable MP4 Player so I guess I need to ring the online sellers to be honest I have found they know little about the product they sell,what about specialist tech support here?

I subscribe to Which Online £7-75 a month I do not find the articles in there that good time to quit I think and Moneysave:))

Open the battery compartment and look for an 'fccid' or some kind of identifier if you want to find out what model it is. Or even find the model on a website and post the link, you never know there maybe some others out there who know more about it than yourself.

Between 4 and 6 hours. Apparantly this model 'Panasonic DVD-LS91' has 6 hours. (cue: lots of people replying saying my xxxx model portable dvd player has 8 hours of battery life and makes me my morning coffee). I don't own an mp4 player, I use a laptop

the general rule of thumb is that if you can watch the files you've downloaded on your PC. Using SUPER you will be able to convert them to another format, in your case you'll need an mp4 codec something like this: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/3ivx.htm however, if you've still got the evaluation software on your PC, you should already have an mp4 codec installed.

Again, it's a general rule of thumb that you either find the maker of the device, or read the reviews which usually contain titbits of information that maybe useful to you. Or you read up on mp4 players generally, then apply that knowledge to the device you have.

try "ares Tube" (google) and get A sandisk sansa e250 (im getting one... saved £30 up so far )
