Anyone got a double Ikea Malm bed they could measure?

After a favour if someone could be so kind.

I'm hoping that someone might have a double or king size Ikea Malm bed and would be able to measure it from widest points? The sizes online don't really say if that's inside or outside measurements.

I've just got rid of mine...dismantled and now in the skip and haven't yet bought a new one yet. I've seen a nice metal one and want to know how much bigger a king size would be, given that the Malm one seems to have bigger wood bits at all sides which might make it inbetween a double and king.

Any measurements would be very much appreciated!

I have a malm king size bed. Sorry my tape broke this morning so can't measure. But the inside fits a 160x200 mattress.

The measurements on ikea website are the external measurements I suppose.

I think the measurements actually might be the internal measurements as the mattresses they are selling are the same sizes as the beds.

Mine's a MALM double and the mattress measures 200 x 140 (the internal gap measures 141cm). Do you want me to measure the width of the outside of the frame?

I bit the bullet and ordered a king size bed anyway...think it will still be same size as the Malm - 157 * 210 or something like that!!
