paint sprayers? pod rollers?

Has anyone used a paint sprayer, either for fence's or for wall's?
I'm about to move into a new house, the large garage needs painting inside onto breeze blocks, and the fence also needs doing maybe 12-14 panels in total.
Is there a sprayer that can hold proper paint and fence treatments?
And should I get a hand pump one or an electric jobby?
Then for the internal house wall's should I go for a paint pod? do you need to buy specific tubs to fit in them or can you use the same one and clean it out etc? Are they worth it?

A neighbour of mine used one to do hi walls. It took him hours to mask up and sheet up everything he didn't want painted. It then took him an hour to clean the machine out properly. I could have done 2 rooms in the time it took him to do one.
For £10 you can get a trade quality roller and sleeve which will take a lot less time.
Remember if professionals don't use something then it's not worth buying.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
Good point phill99, it was just really for breeze blocks as i'd read that they act like a sponge with paint applied with brushes,
I think I'll stick to rollers/brushes indoors and spray for the fence panels as It wont require masking etc.0
