Internet timed out during credit card application

Hi all,

Just tried to apply for my first ever credit card. I've been dithering about this for ages because I know how the applications go on your credit file and I've not wanted to mess it up with a rejection.

Anyway, the page timed out as I sent my application. I'm a bit worried to refresh the page or re-apply in case it is marked against me as 2 applications.

Will the application be processed or will it not go through? Am I safe to try again?

You should call them and ask. Any response here would be a 'best guess'.

Best to call and ask. Don't make a second app till you get a confirmed answer.

Since Google is basically the Internet these days (well we have Google Fiber), it is actually reasonably accurate to say that the Internet timed out.

Why would you just not ring the lender and ask? How are we supposed to know if it's going to be processed?

    I think he gets it!

Two posters have already said this; no need to berate him further. :)
