Flex Direct Nationwide Address Problem

Starting a new job and have to fill in bank/building society details for my wages. I have a flexdirect all online account so never visited a branch, no pass book, only just set this up last month so not used yet.

What is the address I use?
What is the account no.
BACS destination sort code I have figured out
BACS destination account no??

I have a reference no, sort code and account no. Confused, never had a building society account before.

If anyone can help that would be brilliant!

Is there a monthly statement available to view online yet?
That shows Account Number: xx-xx-xx xxxxxxxx which is your Sort Code and account number. This information will also be on your debit card.

Before moving from Flex to FlexDirect my account was associated with a branch. As the FlexDirect account statement still features the same "Branch Prefix" rightly or wrongly I have continued to use its address. My FlexDirect cheque book shows "PO Box 8888, Swindon SN3 1TS". As you have no association with a branch I would use that address.

With some savings accounts the sort code and account number are those of the building society itself and the customer account number goes in the reference field. With a current account such as FlexDirect the sort code / account number combination is unique is to you and the reference field may be left blank.

All you should need to give your employer for payment of wages is the account number and sort code. They usually ask for the name on the account, but this isn't necessary to get paid.

Google "sort code" + "address" and you will find several sites that will present the address for a given sort code.

The FlexDirect sort code (6 digits) and account number (8 digits) are listed beneath the account title in your online banking. That's the BACS destination sort code and BACS destination account no sorted.

For address, just use the Nationwide Head Office Address
    PO Box 8888
    Swindon
    SN38 1NW

It's time employers moved into the 1990s and stopped needing addresses of your bank branch. I generally make up an address when asked and it has never caused a problem.
