    I don't even know why you are still debating it...

    No sorry, the total outstanding when I settled it was £5900, I settled with them for £2200 and paid that, leaving the £3700 to be written off.

    You can ask them to recalculate the outstanding loan, as if it was never taken, but I don't know if they will, if this wasn't mentioned before.

    £3700 was written off. They've taken their £3700. That should be end of it.
