Hi,
Ive recently gone through a claims company as I didnt realise it was easy to reclaim myself, anyway long story short Black Horse have agreed to pay out. Now lets say this is hypothetical but do the claims company know what I have been offered or paid out from Black Horse? as they have dealt directly with me and have also sent the offer letter to me.
I'm waiting for the PPI company to phone me as they had no idea I had been made an offer. Do I tell them the amount and then they ask for 25% plus vat and hypothetically could I tell them I received a lesser amount?
I know its dodgy and dishonest but I feel rather irked with such high fees as I initially thought it was 20%
Thanks

In most cases, the lender will inform the claims company.as they have dealt directly with me and have also sent the offer letter to me.
Which they are required to do. All the claims company does is put a stamp on the envelope containing your complaint. They then sit back and wait for the response.I'm waiting for the PPI company to phone me as they had no idea I had been made an offer. It is up to you whether you wish to commit fraud or not. I doubt anyone on this site would encourage such a thing.I feel rather irked with such high fees as I initially thought it was 20%
Despite my dislike of clams companies and the amount they charge for 5 minutes work for using the free of charge complaints process, if you agree their terms and they do what they say they are going to do then you should accept that.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Thanks for the reply, I know its my own fault for not properly researching PPI Claims process, I just wish there was some kind of regulation for these companies.
Duly noted and thanks for the advice.Best wins so far

So the OP is attempting to defraud the CMC.
I can't help wondering whether he has defrauded Black Horse (of whom I am not a fan either) as well.0
