Hi all,
My daughter is starting Coventry uni in September. We live in Belfast and have decided that the best way to get her there is to fly and hire a car and then do all the shopping when we get there.
I've found an Ikea in Coventry but can anyone recommend an out of town shopping centre that has the likes of Tesco, Dun Elm Mill, Home Bargains etc so I can get everything in one place? Addresses and or post codes would be handy for the satnav.
Thanks.

Hi Gerdo
Coventry has a few out of town shopping centres and a good town centre with an excellent market and a massive Primark
But here are the main out of town shopping centres:
http://www.arenashopping.com/ - has a very new and very big Next at home store
http://www.cannonparkshopping.co.uk/default.aspx - not familiar with this one,
http://www.centralsixcoventry.co.uk/
Alvis Retail Park - probably smallest one
Holyhead Road
Coventry
CV5 8BW
Comet, Currys, B&Q, Staples, Morrisons Supermarket & Mcdonalds.
Gallagher Retail Park,
Stoney Stanton Road,
Coventry
CV6 5QG
Gallagher is my favourite! Has TK Maxx, Argos, Starplan, Poundworld, Matalan, ScS, FW Homestores, Maplin, Home Outlet Superstore, Instore, McDonalds, Dreams, Harveys and B&M Bargains.

Thanks Sasha, lots of good info there, I'll definitely check out Gallaghers, sounds like just what I need.0

I assume the Ikea you refer to is the main one in Coventry city center? I would also assume you could get whatever else you need also in Coventry city.0

I'm from coventry- still live there now.“Washing one's hands of the conflict between the powerful and the powerless means to side with the powerful, not to be neutral. ”

I'd rather be able to park very near the stores, I don't know what parking's like in the city centre, if I'm carrying lots of stuff, I don't want to have to walk too far with it.0

Wouldn't go to Cannon Park! That one is awful. Wouldn't grace it with the name "shopping center" really..0

Indeed, I've been feeling disadvantaged for a while now.
September, I move haha
Its truly awful here we don't even have a Waitrose. Oh the terror.“Washing one's hands of the conflict between the powerful and the powerless means to side with the powerful, not to be neutral. ”

Ok thats Cannon Park off my list !
If the Ikea is in the town centre, does it have its own car park?0
