Masonry Paint colours

onceagain
Hi
I want to paint my exterior brick wall which is already painted. I want to go for usual masonry colours (white, cream, stone) but my missus says they are 'dull and boring'. she wants some bright and funky colours instead. I have tried in Sandtex, Homebase, B&Q etc but couldnt find the 'funky' colours (cobalt blue, orange, cerise).
.
My very specific requests to all members are:
1. where can I find these colours for exterior?
2. Can I go for wood or metal paints instead?

Hi
As a lot of the places you say about do the paint mixing to your choice of colour have you thought of just getting cans of white then {through the colour machines} changing it to the shades you want??
I know it will be "hit and miss" so you would need to be sure you had enough to do the whole job to start with but if there is no other answers perhaps it is a route you could look at.0 -

Hi
Im back to square one.
I spent quite a lot of time there. they have mixing facility but I have to choose from the ones they have in store. they have the same 'dull and boring' colours as my missus calls them.
Can anyone help me further?
Should I use wood or metal paint instead? I need cerise, Bright Blue and orange colours.
thanks in advance0 -

go to your local builders merchant , they can mix you any colour if they have a tinting machine , go for sandtex, or dulux , make sure you get the trade stuff as the diy version sucks ,
also if you are going for darker colours a couple of things to bear in mind , they tend to fade a lot quicker than the paler colours and if the walls are rendered on to a mesh the sun can crack the render with heat movement , one of my customers had a south facing wall painted dark red , and after a few years the rendering had cracks all over it , if the rendering is over brick this shouldn't be a problem0
