PPI Claim

Options
Hi,

I received a letter today from Lloyds TSB about amounts owed to me for Payment Protection Insurance. I have made no claim for PPI and was looking for advice on whether the amount quoted will be a true reflection of amount owed.

I didn't know I was due any PPI but I don't want to rush in and accept if this isn't the best thing to do.

The loan was only for £1500 in 2007 and I am being offered £192 refund. I think this is a fair amount but thought advice can't hurt :)

Thanks!!

If you have no documentation, you can't argue about it.
If you want to argue about it, then you will have to send a SAR and £10 to see what info is left,t hen take your ocmplaint tot he Ombudsman.

If it's a goodwill offer, they don't have to pay you what you paid, if it's upheld, they have to pay you in line with defined redress methods.
