Item stolen in Transit. Unhelpful Seller
Comments

We are in this situation as a buyer.
The item was posted in late July and was supposedly delivered and signed for on 1 August. However, we don't have the item and the signature is not ours. We have checked with neighbours and any "safe places" but its not here.
We contacted the Post Office who are basically saying tough luck it's been delivered. They apparently have questioned the postman who delivered that round who confirmed he did deliver it here despite the fact we have told them no one was even home that day!! So we are at a loss of what to do.
The Seller is being good about it, but he doesn't know what to do either. He can't claim for a lost item, because Royal Mail are saying its been delivered.
We are both sending letters to the complaints department/head office but I don't see this getting resolved.
Ridiculous really as Royal Mail have either delivered it to the wrong address or it had been stolen but refuse to help because it shows as delivered!!! So what are you meant to do in this situation!!0 -

Think about it. Out with PDA tracking, there is a high degree of trust in the staff
So saying that. Push RM to check the PDA data if a PDA was used
You can tell by the sig
PM me the tracking number if you aren't sure0 -

Well the signature is just lines/squiggles and the name is down as POLL. Thanks for the information about the PDA, I will add it to our letter.0 -
