At a guess I'd say that there were 100 pieces in stock.0

Why does someone who runs a shop not look at the till readout when going through one, and not already have figured out how much they would be paying and queried the amount as soon as it was different?
I don't run a shop and am not a business person - but I do - its common sense.0 -

I knew how much it should be, £350, as I was buying for my Daughters. Being with my Daughters I didn't want to cause a fuss in front of them. But I sneakily checked the receipt straight away.0 -

Querying a price at the checkout is not causing a fuss.... the tills are required to display the price so that the customer can check what is being rung up.
Accepting the bill, paying it, going to Customer Services, queuing, explaining the issue and then getting a refund is making more of a fuss, don't you think?:hello:0 -
Cust services knew the problem as I walked up to them. But yes should have watched or at least made a fuss when it came to £8 more than expected.Tiddlywinks wrote: »Going to Customer Services, queuing, explaining the issue and then getting a refund is making more of a fuss, don't you think?
But with two 20yo Daughters in tow who would have laughed all the way home had I got it wrong, best to check first.0
