For my nephew. Desperation has set in as I've left it too late to order on line . He has dyspraxia and is young for his age. Doesn't really have the concentration for construction or craft type things. The bloke in the toyshop could only suggest those finger skates ( not him!) or nerf guns. Which he already has coming out of his ear holes. He likes rowing and getting muddy! Doesn't do team sports out of school any more as he was being sidelined. He has a ds but I don't know what games are on there. And his dad is being useless for suggestions.
Suggestions for around the £15 mark? Even if I give money, I still want something for him to open on the day. Any book suggestions that are popular at the moment?

I know you mentioned he isn't too good with construction stuff but have you thought of LEGO if not a set how about the mini figures, they have just 4 pieces to "build" and at £1.99 you could get a few packs.Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0

Thanks, but he's got loads of Lego handed down by his siblings. It would look a bit sad by comparison. It doesn't help that I'm watching the pennies, and they are loaded! With a bad habit of getting things when tbey want them.
He's changing schools in sept, I wondered if there was anything there that would be fun and not boring school stuff? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

how about some sportswear? Have a look in SportsDirect for a sports bag or something like that?
you could then have a look for some school stationery (all the supermarkets have deals on it at the mo for back to school) to put in it?0 -
what about a voucher saying
"I will take you and your friend to the swimming pool
and for a burger and fries afterwards on the day of your choice"Fight Back - Be Happy0 -
actually dosnt even have to be a burger and fries
if the pool has a cafe
then a hot chocolate would be just as good and cheaper
but I'm assuming you are close enough for that to be possibleFight Back - Be Happy0 -
Edit- mother tells me he's 11 . We're currently debating who's lost the plot. And he lives too far away for the out, which is a shame as its a nice idea. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Battleships is a really good game for kids. My two love it.The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0
