Alfie I can remember the red painted step vividly, I often had to clean it and the brass knocker and letterbox that had to be cleaned every day except Sunday, and the path had to be swept every day as well. Those were the days Alfie!

Yep Sylv, can remember them days:T:T - nothing done on sunday though!!! :eek:

Can also recall, long before central heating, the lovely log/coal burning fires with proper chimneys (so cozy) - and can also recall the cleaning out required!!! :eek: Recall the coal skuttle, tongs etc (still have me mum's/dad's stuff in garage) and also the coal bunker with coalman coming along the road to deliver the coal and fill the bunker up! Dont see them much now, happy days tho!:D

Well back from doc's and hospital for XRay, need to go back to GP for bloods on Wednesday but basically he says keep taking the painkillers till the XRay results are back in 2 weeks. Suspects it may be Arthritis.

While at the hospital, popped in to see my pal who is the Sister in the Outpatient department for a quick catch up.

Osteopath may be a later option ILC
