Afternoon all
Just having a wee break from wrapping presents- the floor is covered with paper, ties, ribbon, tape, pile of gifts - am getting there, I think
:j:j
Ventured to supermarket t'other morn really just to stock up some freezer bits and few other bits n bobs (unfortunately stuff local stores didn't have).
:eek::eek: What an eye-opener there!!!!!
Would guess 50% of customers were fine (me included) yet the other 50% were the most GRUMPIEST SOUR/RUDE OLD/YOUNG FARTS I have ever encountered with their frantic quest to do humongous xmas food shopping :eek::eek: Luckily alfie has a good sense of humour and an awful lot of patience!!!
Sorry about using the word 'farts' but it seemed rather appropriate!!
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::D
What ever happened to the Season of Goodwill?
Fresh fruit/veggies/milk only required now, thankfully from the lovely farm shop:T:T:D
Hope everyone is well (hugs to all) and many many congrats to all winners - lovely prizes! :j:j:j:j Very well done. :T:T

Puddy is now totally bored with the wrapping presents thing and just seen her upstairs, curled up in the middle of a nice comfy beanbag sending up the zzzzzz's with paws covering her face.:rotfl: xxx

Hellooooooo!
Sorry I was AWOL yesterday, had the work Xmas do which started at 2 and I was designated driver, so I had to leave the office at 1pm to get some of us over there. Was great fun, but there were some sore heads in the office this morning! haha I have gloated a little as I am hangover free (having stayed sober), but I did get the girls some diet coke as a hangover cure.
ON a bit of wind down here. Only 2 more days in the office (Mon & Tues) and then it's closed until 2nd Jan! Woo!
Hope you're all well! Congratulations to all winners! And good luck to everyone!
No further wins here, but another koala arrived yesterday. I was very pleased, as that meant I had 2 ready to give to my colleague today for her boys (it was her last day in the office until the new year), so that was great timing!
I think the Xmas food shopping is still to happen at our household, but am not sure if Mum went to do it earlier today. We'll see.
