Frozen turkey will do us fine . Won't need a big one as only 4 of us but will be having my boxing day curry with it too.
Quite glad the Currys wishlist is finished TBH as it took so long and I sometimes did one for DH too.

Frozen are cheaper but have to get the timing right or a whole heap of water defrosting!!!

Morning all,
Like everyone else, we too had such heavy rain and high winds last night it was frightening. We have a few tree branches down in the garden, but otherwise we have no damage thank goodness.

I'm about to wrap some Christmas presents for my daughters stocking whilst she is at school.

Bit of a late start today, but the sun is shining and DH just made me a very nice ham and mushroom omlette for brunch so all is right with the world.

I had a lucky day yesterday - postie brought me a book which was a reward for having filled in a publisher's survey, a courier arrived with big Lego Coastguard set (complete with Lego sharks!) which I think must be from the Santander 12 Toys of Christmas comp, and I won an eye shadow on the Bourjois advent.

Wild weather here too last night but dry at least at the moment although still gusty.

Nice WEM from Mecca Advent, won Galaxy Selection box

Went to Morrisons yesterday for Peroni for me and OH bought a 4 pack of Belhaven Best-he's not a beer drinker as a rule but enjoys the odd shandy with that one.
We then crossed the road to Aldi for the rest of the shopping and he spotted the same beer £1 cheaper :mad:
So he's away back to Morrisons this morning for a refund :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
