Afternoon all
Feeling organised today as i've been into town and finished my Christmas shopping. It was all organised like a military operation as some shops opened at 10, some at 10.30 and some at 11. Left the house at 10 to 10 and was home at quarter past eleven. It was already horrendously busy and it's grey and drizzling here so not much Christmas spirit in evidence!
I get SAD at this time of year, but I have a special lamp that sits on my desk - I use it for 30 minutes in the morning and it really seems to make a difference.
I have to work this afternoon unfortunately but only have 2 days at work next week and then am off till the 27th - can't wait.
Heads up for another Times hourly tomorrow (Monday) - it looks like there might be one every day next week.
Tomorrow's is -
E: 16/12 9pm Win a Nintendo 3DS XL every hour with The Times
Hope the poorly peeps are feeling better and fingers crossed for some wins today.0 -

Just been a nice walk. Can't believe how mild this winter has been so far. We haven't had the heating on anything like as much as most winters. (Although DH moans to put it on sometimes)
Don't think DH has really got SAD but I suppose there are varying degrees of it. Used to have a nice Canary Holiday at the beginning of Feb which used to really perk us up. Glad you can cope with it SueM.
Great news on The Times Comps (I think!) Thank you. Can't believe how you did the shopping. Have done similar in the past but never as impressive as that.
Nice to see you are getting in the Xmas spirit ILC - great pics.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

I only had half-a-dozen things left to get to be honest, so probably not all that impressive, but I wanted to be in and out as fast as I could so had a list of which order to go the shops in and my DH with me carrying the bags and ticking off the list.
Not going near a shop now till after Christmas - other than for milk, bread etc. Meat is coming via an internet order on Thursday and rest of Christmas food from Sainsbury's delivery on the 23rd.
Mind you, I'm bound to have forgotten something.:)0
