Had a lovely Christmassy night at DD's concert. She did me proud singing Walking in the Air which brought a tear to my eye! Had lots of people coming up to us afterwards saying how good she was. I couldn't have been prouder

thanks sylv, sounds like the bad cold you & fred got was one of the virus flu bugs going round,
we've a couple of neighbours who had the same here
& they're saying it takes a couple of weeks to get your strength back

I can't seem to get into my iTunes anymore Sheils either since I got a new bank card, it just won't accept it and says I owe money which I know I don't! So I gave up on it! Thing is....kids are getting new iPods for Xmas so will need iTunes! Glad you got yours sorted out

Hope everyone and their families are well today. My DS3 is pretty bad with the cold - not sure I would want him cooking for me!
DH isn't his usual self either although he isn't usually at this time of the year. He always jokes he gets SAD.

Are you going to open a new iTunes account wingo? I really don't like them but have won so many vouchers in the past I use them. Kids always had iPods too. I had a scam email from Apple last night too saying my account was frozen, I nearly clicked on it as it was such a coincidence.

When I won one of Hotel Chocolats hampers there was some lovely wine in it FF so you will definitely need your egg timer.

Up early again to get going with comps. I've got lots of tidying up things planned for today. My DH will be back on Tuesday, I'm starting to get excited

Hope your DS3 feels better Sheils! My step-mum says she gets SAD too so for Christmas I've got her one of those sunrise simulating alarm clocks that are supposed to help you wake up naturally to see if that helps. I can see why people get it on those dingy days it's hardly worth opening your curtains for

I'm really having trouble keeping up so have ditched a lot of the dailies I've been doing

Busy day today, got loads of stuff to do in here, windows to clean as well as now the sun is shining on them they look disgraceful :eek:

Apparently I was singing in my sleep lat night but hubby couldn't work out what I was singing! I was dreaming that I was watching the Killers in concert so I don't know where that came from!

Aw your poor son Sheils xx Tell him to have plenty of chilli to sweat it out of him! I used to think I had that SAD too Sheils as winter was always more depressing for me. I think it was worse when I wasn't working though. I can imagine what older people must feel too who are on their own with not enough heating etc.
