It's amazing what some complaining to a company on Twitter can do! Finally got someone at Stagecoach taking the issue seriously, escalating it and looking into a short term solution for me! At last!

Thanks ILC. Took a minute or two with the s n o i t a l u t a r g n o c.
My Clubcard statement came this morning - £26.50 so now have £90 to exchange some time. DH likes to use them for restaurants.
Had to laugh at the receipt for my hudl someone had obviously been asked to buy it at the weekend and they bought it in Musselburgh and used their clubcard to get points on it.

Yes, but come to think of it, I think I whinged on FB about it and not here. :rotfl:I was trying to buy my monthly bus pass, online, on Thursday last week, it failed twice (for no reason) but the money still left my account (twice!) and was in a holding account. After calling Stagecoach, I was fobbed off onto WorldPay, who fobbed me off onto my bank, who explained it was approved on their end but they received an error message from Stagecoach saying 'Machine failure', I called Stagecoach again who fobbed me off, I emailed a complaint to both Stagecoach and WorldPay and no one came back to me! I chased them on Monday, and finally got a call back from Stagecoach last night who just tried to fob me off again and kept saying 'it's a problem with your bank, not us'. Anyway, I complained to them on Twitter last night in a fit of anger (my next step was to complain to the CEO directly as I had managed to find his email address! lol) and they got someone with a brain to call me today. Turns out there IS an issue at their end and I'm not the only one who's having a problem. It's been escalated. In the meantime, they've confirmed that I can buy the monthly ticket on the bus, in cash, for the same price and have agreed to refund the daily return tickets I've had to buy in the meantime. What a palava! Just so glad I've managed to get it sorted because I was going insane!
