I certainly hope Alfie has won the lotto ILC!
It's her turn to buy a round
Fire**works been going off here too fire**fly, they're making jasper bark every time!
I laughed at what you said about ex hubby and the garlic!Whenever I ask DH if he's had anything to eat at work he always says no...even though I can smell the garlic on him! They're always getting take aways at work!
The supply of garlic should keep the vamps away this Halloween!
Thanks for the heads up SueM on Times comp :A I won't tell DH as its too near Xmas for him to be travelling to footie matches!
Hope you enjoyed the parmo walwinThe first time I tasted one was when I was on a first date with a lad, he assumed I liked a pork parmo but I didn't like pork then so I just ate all the cheese off the top!
Needless to say I never saw him again!
I do prefer fish n chips to one though ILC
Sheils, our kids are like that with the smoke alarm here. They just think I'm cooking again!Glad you & euro are getting the Novotel win sorted out.
Hope your DD manages to sort everything out for next week Sylvia.
I had planned a day out tomorrow for kids and pics on Sunday afternoon but son has informed me that it's his friends bday and there's a big group of them going to pics n pizza hut tomorrow so will have to change my plans again!
Hey Sheils, how's the mattress? Did you have an early night? We went shopping today and me & DH were trying all the mattresses...well sitting on them to see which was more comfy. I know what you mean about the memory foam one now, I think DH will end up kicking me out of bed with one!
We got a few pressies in today as I had a £5 off a £15 spend from smyths too. When I came home there was a card from UPS in DD's name saying it needs adult signature. Not sure what it is but I hope DD doesn't find it as I might be able to put away for Xmas!I entered lots of iPod touches in her name in kids comps as that's what I'm getting her for Xmas.
Got some fantastic news about mum today too....her last scan shows cancer is clear but she just needs one more chemo :j Brill news considering it was spread in most placesBig thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
 TB - £0 / EM - £0
Weird EM ££ - UK only reached £3,616 - all big prizes abroad:eek:
TB ££ - Was mainly £250 or below (one £500,000 winner)< Treated myself >

Wingo; Hope your DD gets her ipod touch.
They are marvelous. (just like a tiny ipad really)
Wingo: Hope your mum gets better soon.
Anybody that wears glasses:
Do you have separates or combination:
Distance + Reading, Bi-focals or Varifocals ?
I read that e.g. computer use or reading in bed can affect what pair you need because of zones0 -

Some lovely pics.
You read ok without?
I'm finding either (or a combination of) my eyes are going, print is getting smaller or these low energy bulbs
I shine a torch on small print.
How do you protect something you want for cooking or yourself ?0 -

Yeah at the moment DH and I can both read without glasses but low energy bulbs make it harder.
If something is just for me I issue warnings or hide it under something elseMar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
