AB not so lucky today ILC - having carp day

Internet playing up big time though after rebooting 4 times :eek: etc - at the moment seems to be behaving itself, paws crossed. So will try to catch up.

Bill from electric - twice as much as this time last year - may resort to candles :eek: Letter from Gas re new charges:eek: May dig out camping equipment - little stove etc And so it goes on ....... more carp post :eek:

Getting ready for supposed impending nasty storm approaching sunday through monday God I hope it's not gonna be like the 1987 one - can remember that well :eek: The lovely M Fish springs to mind.

We are being advised to batten down hatches, clear garden furniture etc away (job for tomorrow - into shed/garage), make sure fences etc etc are secure - power lines may go down:eek: (hope me trees don't!!) :eek:

Just got to make everything as secure as poss I suppose and hope that it swiftly passes by. Hope they have got the forecast wrong

On a brighter note ILC - as internet is behaving at the mo and power lines are upright - AB has taken the opportunity of having a swift punt on Tue/Wed NL draws (incase there may be power cuts after supposed impending storm) ........ had to get priorities right! :rotfl::rotfl:

Grrr, one of my postcard competition entries has been delivered to me! Am so annoyed! It clearly says To: on the front, the stamp is on that side and I put my address on sideways on the back to try and avoid this confusion! Grrrrr!

Lots of news in the Inn, still trying to catch up with it all

OH and I both booked for grandkids watching tonight-he is watching his GKs aged 2 & 6 at his son's and I am at my daughter's with 12 & 14 year old girls.

Think OH will struggle to get watching any TV as 2 year old is obsessed by Peppa Pig :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Good luck to him-I expect phone calls

This storm must be a bit of a worry. Hope everyone will be OK. Hopefully we are too far north to be affected much and we are heading further north tomorrow.
We are having roast chicken tonight at DDs request.
