You can change the Forum thread order to sort posts by end date. Simply go to the bottom of any Forum page & on the left hand side is ‘Display Options’. Click on the ‘Sorted By’ dropdown & then select Thread Title. All 200 odd pages are now listed in Thread Title order.
Each thread will now be listed by the ending date used in the thread title. This means that the threads which end on a particular date will be grouped together - you will just need to find out which page they start from & then you are ready to enter comps for a particular end date.
Another method you can use for finding comps that end on a particular day is to do a couple of searches using Google or another search engine using each of the following:
"E:17/10" site:moneysavingexpert.com
"E:17/10" site:moneysavingexpert.com
This method will find the comps for the dates you have selected whether they are in Competitions Time Forum, or even the Game Over & Regular Competitions sub forums.....................................................please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
I don't do end date comping rosemac but if i'm realy pushed I find
putting say E: 17/10 Win
in the comps board search box
(the one just above the Sticky: for Postal comps)
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=72
brings up all the ones ending on E: 17/10
there's always a few random ones in but they're easily skipped,
hope this helps anywayplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -

Morning everyone
Sitting here enjoying a beautiful sunrise, sky is stunning, hope it stays good for my trip to Stirling
Parakeet sounds very cute FF, they are so clever at mimicking aren't they. One of the restaurants we go to in Crete has a Grey Parrot called Giorgos and his owner says his wife feeds the local stray cats every day in their garden. Giorgos mimics her call to the cats exactly and the poor cats come running for nothing :rotfl:
Have a a good day all0 -

Good Morning,
Have never got the hang of end dates rosemac. So many of the comps seem to have finished when you go to them and the order seems strange sometimes. Probably me.
Have a great time in Stirling elle.
Hope you have fun with the Parakeet FF. I remember reading that parrots need as much attention as a toddler so a baby one will need even more!
Been really cold here last night but hopefully be OK today. Thought the forecast was rain - must have another look. Got so much housework, washing, ironing etc to do. That will teach me to go away as often.
Have a lucky day all.

Morning everyone :hello:
Foggy here too fire**fly and rain forecast for later
If anyone wants my Beefeater voucher just PM me and I'll forward you the email
It has to be used by 29th October and as my nearest is 40 odd miles away I'm not going to be able to use it. I'd hoped I could use it next month when we go racing but I can't
sheils - lovely pics :T
Hope you manage to get everything done that you need to
fire**fly - enjoy yourself looking after the parakeet :j
Just had a quick google as I didn't know what a quaker parakeet is - wasn't sure if it was her religion
wingo - hope headache's better and you managed to catch spider :j
Have a great day all0 -
Morning All!
Gratz on the scratchcard Wingo!
I'm sooo glad I did the skin test. I think I would've ended up in hospital if I hadn't!
I used to get migraines very frequently, but I linked the main trigger to the (contraceptive) pill, so I came off it. Could yours be linked to any other medication maybe? I know that high levels of stress can still be a trigger for me, but thankfully only get about 2 a year now, rather than 2 a week.
Rosemac - I do end date comping, but I do it in the second way that FF described (I didn't realise I could do it in the first way she's described - thanks FF!). It's always been a bit hit and miss though. No matter how accurate I try to be, there are still always a few 'rogue' results that come up and trying to search for comps with the same number for the day and month (ie, 10/10) can be a nightmare!!! Still, it makes me feel better that if I win any of them, I'll find out sooner rather than later. :rotfl:
Hope everyone is well. The weather here has been dry so far, but very dark and grey and the weather forecast is for torrential rain! Great!
Hope you caught the spider Wingo! I hate them! *shudder* OH hates daddy long legs though, so we have a system going - I get rid of the daddy long legs and he gets rid of the spiders. We had a week's holiday in Somerset in August and there was a spider the size of my palm in the caravan on the last night!!!!:eek: He kept hiding too (and was sooooo fast!!!!), but I refused to sleep until OH had got rid! :rotfl:February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Good morning all, like firefly we got up to mist and wet, although the mist has cleared now. How lovely looking after the quaker parakeet, you had better be careful what you say else it will go home having learned some naughty words. :rotfl:
Wingo - I do hope you headache is better today. Yes DS went home on Sunday.
Sheils - hope you get caught up on the washing etc I still have the bedding to was from DS but leaving it for a better day.
Hope you all have a lovely day.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

Don't know if I will manage to use mine either walwinWe have stopped at various Beefeaters on our breaks just to use earlier ones! We did stay next to one at Blackpool which was handy but don't think there will be one handy on our next trip to Glenrothes (27th). Have a 25% off voucher for Brewers Fayre which is next door though.;)
